Registered Student FAQs

We recommend that whether you are on the range or in the classroom that you wear closed toed shoes or boots, long pants, jeans or cargo pants and a shirt with no inflammatory or foul language on it. You will be issued shirts which you can wear throughout the course. Ensure that you have appropriate attire for work outdoors such as rain gear, jackets, gloves, etc.

Also, please note that steel toed boots may interfere with some equipment used in a portion of the class and in the field. Please make sure you have another form of footwear that meet the US Army Corp of Engineers, Engineering Manual 385-1-1 dated 15 Sept 2008, pages 65 and 66.

For the most part everything you need to succeed will be provided for you. Although we recommend that you bring with you highlighter markers and even page tabs to assist you in note taking. A hard copy of the courseware and pens are provided.

We also recommend you bring a laptop to class if you are able to. This is only recommended and not required. We provide free wireless internet for those who need it
