2011 Announcements:

Due to increased cost of materials, tuition for the UXO Tech 1 course will increase by 10% to $6,325 starting the first class of 2011.

Application Process:
1) Download Application Packet
2) Submit completed application along with $1,000 deposit to reserve your seat in the class.
3) Obtain a Criminal Background Check from your local Police or Sheriff’s Department (you may also allow FRTC to run your background check for only $25.00)
4) Take the OSHA physical test within 30 days of the start of the class you are applying for
5) Submit the results of a 10-panel drug screen taken within 30 days of the start of the class you are applying for
6) Arrive before 8:00 am on your first day of class

Payment:
-A $1,000 deposit is required to reserve your seat in the class.
-The balance of tuition, $4750, is due by the end of the last day of class.
Front Range Training does offer a payment plan for UXO Tech 1 course tuition
for those in financial need.

HAZWOPER is required to work on any Department of Defense installation and a UXO Tech 1

UXO Global’s UXO Tech 1 Training Course has received approval from DAER for entry level UXO Technicians to work in Canada

Front Range Training and Consulting is proud to offer the Unexploded Ordnance Technician I course in response to the rapid growth in the Munitions Response programs worldwide. This UXO Tech 1 course was developed following the guidelines outlined in Department of Defense Explosive Safety Board Technical Paper 18 “Minimum Qualifications for Unexploded Ordnance (UXO) Technicians and Personnel,” 20 December 2004 and prepares students for an exciting career in the UXO field. Candidates will endure a challenging four week course studying subjects such as safety, explosives, unexploded ordnance from around the world, range clearance operations, and more. Front Range also offers the candidate certification in an OSHA approved 40 hour Hazardous Waste Operator (HAZWOPER) course. Our graduates have all of the knowledge and skills needed to immediately work as a certified UXO Tech I with the U.S. Army Corp of Engineer required HAZWOPER certification.

Upon course completion Front Range Training will assist all graduates in locating jobs with the leading UXO companies in the world.
